Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Service Technician IV to perform residential and light commercial HVAC service and maintenance. You will diagnose, repair, and service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, while training junior staff and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Requires 6+ years in HVAC, EPA/safety certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in HVAC with technical training
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Proficient with HVAC tools and equipment
• Reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/refrigeration systems
• Able to work with minimal supervision and stand(s)/crawl space access

Responsibilities

• Works under general supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner
• Diagnoses and performs services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to identify potential problems
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work
• Communicates with dispatch to provide status updates
• Represents the company professionally and ethically
• Maintains company vehicles, tools, and stock
• Available for flexible hours and on-call shifts
