Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to diagnose and service residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate directly with customers, answer questions, resolve issues, and promote Service Experts products and services during visits.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, ordering and returning parts, collecting payments, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. A valid license, EPA/safety certifications, and a Mechanical Journeyman credential are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 2+ years of experience.
• Must possess all required licensing or certification for the jurisdiction.
• Mechanical Journeyman certification is required.
• EPA and safety certifications are required.
• Proficient in servicing heating, cooling, ventilation and related equipment.
• Strong reading of wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Able to start up, balance airflow, align pulleys, and install basic duct fittings.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Communicate with customers to answer questions and resolve problems.
• Promote products and services to customers and relay replacement sales leads.
• Carry out required paperwork, collect payments, and maintain neat records.
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment for service work.
• Inspect equipment and perform maintenance and cleaning as needed.
• Work under supervision of Field Supervisor or GM and maintain safety practices.
• Maintain inventory and vehicle stock, and coordinate with dispatch.
