RealREPP is partnering with a well-established mechanical contractor in Weymouth, MA to hire an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service experience.

The role requires MA Refrigeration license (highly preferred), EPA 608 cert, OSHA 30 cert, and a proven ability to diagnose and repair complex HVACR systems. On-site, full-time opportunity with room for growth and competitive pay.

Qualificações

• Trade school, technical training OR Associates Degree in HVACR required.
• 5+ years hands on HVACR experience required.
• Experience independently handling diagnostics/system repairs.
• MA Refrigeration license highly preferred.
• RI Refrigeration license highly preferred.
• EPA 608 cert required.
• OSHA 30 cert required.
• Experience mentoring technicians preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking & mechanical skills.
• Ability to read & interpret schematics/blueprints.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Independently diagnose and resolve complex issues in HVACR systems including: RTUs, chillers, VRFs, VAV systems, split systems, supermarket racks, commercial refrigeration equipment, electrical, controls, airflow & mechanical faults.
• Repair or replace compressors, motors, heat exchangers, coils & controls.
• Perform and supervise refrigerant recovery, evacuation & charging procedures.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.
• Mentor and support service technicians and apprentices in the field.
• Provide on-the-job training in troubleshooting, safety, tools, and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with service manager about technician performance and development.
• Lead commissioning and startup of new systems including proper operation verification and control calibration.
• Assist with system retrofits and upgrades (including integration with BAS/BMS systems).
• Support install teams as needed during equipment replacements and complex startups.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports, including time, materials, diagnostics & recommendations.
• Communicate findings and recommended solutions clearly to customers, project managers and office staff.
• Serve as technical liaison between field staff and office/management team.
• Follow OSHA safety practices and company protocols on job sites.

Compensation Package

• Hourly rate $50-70 / hour (DOE)
