Job summary

RealREPP, partnering with a Weymouth-based contractor, seeks an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of commercial HVACR service and a refrigeration license. Expect field diagnostics, system repairs, and leadership on complex startups.

Requirements include EPA 608, OSHA 30, and a valid license. On-site role with competitive hourly pay and benefits, plus growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Trade school, technical training OR Associates Degree in HVACR required.
• 5+ years hands on HVACR experience required.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing systems independently.
• MA or RI Refrigeration license preferred; EPA 608 cert required.
• OSHA 30 cert required; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex HVACR systems including RTUs, chillers and VRFs.
• Repair compressors, motors, coils and controls; supervise refrigerant work.
• Lead commissioning, startup and integration with BAS/BMS systems.
• Mentor apprentices; provide on‑the‑job safety training and reports.
• Maintain detailed service reports and communicate findings to customers.
