Job summary

Trane Technologies in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Service Project Manager to lead Service Turnkey and Large Repair projects across SD and Northern IA. You’ll own project financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction as the single point of contact for stakeholders.

Responsibilities include overseeing schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and driving timely project updates while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding HVAC retrofit, modification, repair & replacement projects in a Commercial / Industrial environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and team-management skills.
• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction PM Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years’ experience managing commercial HVAC service projects with PM software.
• Experience with project scopes, schedules, costs, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support sales with quotes, project development, and proposals.
• Validate scope, cost and schedule via site walks and scoping meetings.
• Manage change orders, pricing and total solutions across streams.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure clear communication on progress and billing.
• Oversee cash flow, forecasts, expenses, collections, and backlog reviews.
• Create and maintain project schedules and resource timing on-site.
• Lead project administration including permits, procurement, and contract docs.
