Job summary

Trane Technologies in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Service Project Manager to oversee Turnkey and Large Repair projects in the SD and northern IA markets. You will manage project financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction, leading the project team and serving as the main contact for stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have HVAC project experience, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding HVAC retrofit, modification, repair & replacement projects in a commercial/industrial environment.
• Proven leadership, strong verbal and written communication, and ability to lead a project team.
• Experience with Project Schedules / PM Software.

Responsibilities

• Support sales by assisting with quote preparation, project development, and proposals.
• Validate project scope, cost, schedule by conducting site walks and scoping meetings, and establishing clear customer expectations.
• Responsible for change order management, pricing, and closing orders providing total solutions across business streams.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by supporting company initiatives, building relationships, investigating concerns, and developing communication plans with stakeholders.
• Oversee subcontractors—RFQ, subcontracts, procurement, and vendor coordination to align progress and costs.
• Financially manage all project aspects including cash flow, forecasts, expenses, and backlog reviews.
