Job summary

Trane Technologies in Fargo, North Dakota, is hiring a Turnkey Project Manager to lead multi-faceted construction projects, including scope validation, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. You will manage subcontractors, ensure compliance, and drive on‑time project delivery.

The role requires an Electrical/Mechanical/Construction PM degree or 3–5 years’ experience with extensive HVAC expertise, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management degree required.
• Experience with project schedules and PM construction software.
• Combination of degree or 3–5 years of experience.
• Extensive HVAC experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent violations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and developing communication plans with stakeholders for timely updates.
• Lead all aspects of project administration including contract clauses, reporting, compliance, documentation, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Financially manage all project costs, cash flow, forecasted costs, expenses, and backlog communications.
• Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contracts, meetings, and setting expectations; identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate qualified subcontractors, RFQ processes, awards, execution, and establish communication guidelines for progress and billing.
• Create and maintain project schedules with tasks, dependencies, and milestones.
• Travel 25%–50% (1–2 days at a time max).
