Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group seeks an HVAC Service Manager for a Mechanical Servicing Company in Gaithersburg, MD, to lead a large commercial HVAC service operation and drive service excellence across Maryland and DC.

The role oversees ~50 technicians, 3 team leads, and a Dispatch Manager; responsibilities include bids, estimates, payroll, profitability, growth planning, and collaborating with the sales team on service opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience managing HVAC service technicians and operations.
• Ability to read HVAC manuals, electrical schematics and control circuits.
• Experience with service sales in commercial HVAC or mechanical services.

Responsibilities

• Lead a commercial HVAC service department with 3 team leads and about 50 technicians.
• Oversee service operations, field activities, and dispatch.
• Manage bids, estimates and related service proposals.
• Oversee payroll and department profitability.
• Support growth and operational planning for the service team.
• Handle high-level customer service for commercial/industrial HVAC customers.
