Job summary
AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a technically strong HVAC Service Manager to lead commercial HVAC service operations in Gaithersburg, MD.
The base salary can reach up to $175k per year, with a bonus opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k and PTO, plus a car allowance. The role oversees a service department of about 50 technicians, manages bids and profitability, and drives growth while delivering high-level service to commercial and industrial clients
Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- HVAC service management experience.
- Experience with customer service and service sales in commercial HVAC.
- Experience reading HVAC manuals, electrical schematics, and control circuits.
Responsibilities
- Lead a commercial HVAC service department of ~50 technicians and a Dispatch Manager.
- Oversee HVAC service operations, technician management, field service activities, and service dispatch.
- Manage bids, estimates, HVAC service estimating, and related service proposals.
- Oversee payroll and service department profitability.
- Support service department growth and operational planning.
- Handle high-level customer service matters for commercial and industrial HVAC customers.
- Partner with the sales team on service opportunities and customer needs.
