Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced HVAC/R professional to oversee installation and commissioning of systems across grocery and commercial settings. You will lead diagnostics, coordinate field teams, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA refrigerant standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance planning, equipment life extension, and supervising technicians, with focus on safety, quality, and timely service delivery at Walmart facilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience or 6+ years with an AAS in HVAC/R.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required (Type I/II/Universal).
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and refrigerant handling compliance.
• Coordinate field teams and mentor technicians.
• Maintain safety, OSHA standards and EPA guidelines in all activities.
• Track parts, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
