Jobot is seeking a Permanent Senior HVAC/R Technician to join our Engineering team in Columbus, Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, with opportunities to work on chillers, boilers, refrigeration, BAS, and controls.

Compensation ranges from $38 to $44 per hour with potential overtime. We offer profit sharing and a 401(k) plan as part of a broader benefits package.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair, with a strong emphasis on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Proven experience with Building Automation Systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior staff members, with a commitment to professional development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment and systems, and recommend solutions.
• Install and configure Building Automation Systems to optimize energy efficiency and system performance.
• Ensure safety and environmental regulations compliance for HVAC/R systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering to design and implement new HVAC/R systems and modifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff members.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Stay current with HVAC/R technologies and industry trends and apply knowledge to improve systems.
