Responsibilities

• Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics.
• Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across commercial and industrial systems.
• Implements and monitors preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce downtimes.
• Manages rack systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, and supermarket refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
• Uses heavy machinery and submits maintenance logs and work orders with detailed notes and photos.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA standards and EPA refrigerant handling protocols during field work.
• Conducts inspections and repairs per HVAC/R codes, including indoor air quality and cold chain requirements.
• Reclaims ozone-depleting refrigerants and maintains environmental compliance.
• Leads field teams, mentors technicians, and manages escalated service issues.
• Participates in on-call rotation to support critical needs outside standard hours.
• Manages refrigerant levels, parts inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure timely material availability.
• Tracks and orders HVAC/R parts and ensures contract compliance with providers.
• Coordinates service calls and workloads to meet timelines and business priorities.
• Supports implementation of HVAC/R business solutions by identifying needs and monitoring progress.
• Leads special projects, evaluates new technologies, and recommends improvements.
