Job summary

Jobot in Utah is seeking a Permanent Senior HVAC/R Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, with strong emphasis on refrigeration and Building Automation Systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of HVAC/R experience, BAS installation/configuration, mentoring skills, excellent problem-solving, and knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. A valid HVAC/R certification is required, and on-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of HVAC/R maintenance/repair experience in commercial/industrial environments.
Profound knowledge of BAS installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and promote learning.
Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC/R issues.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and recommend solutions.
Install and configure Building Automation Systems to optimize energy efficiency.
Ensure safety and environmental compliance for HVAC/R systems and equipment.
Collaborate with engineering to design and implement new HVAC/R systems and modifications.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspection, and repair work.
Stay current with HVAC/R technologies and industry trends.
