Job summary

WDF Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead HVAC projects at our Brooklyn, NY site.

You will manage commercial HVAC projects from start to finish, prepare estimates, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. The ideal candidate has 20+ years in construction management and hands-on experience with $4M–$40M HVAC projects.

Qualifications

• 20+ years' experience in construction management for commercial HVAC projects.
• Experience managing HVAC projects in the $4 million to $40 million range.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and execute project based on scope of work requirements, specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC projects from start to completion.
• Prepare estimates and takeoffs, purchasing of material, leasing equipment and scheduling employees.
• Work with clients, design professionals and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials.
• Review blueprints, specifications, scope of work outlines, equipment information to ensure all aspects of a project align with the client's needs, industry standards, code requirements and design intent.
• Review site conditions with field trades to address challenges to completion of work delivery of equipment & materials on site.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Maintain regular communication with the client's management team, and adjust schedule and manpower requirements as needed.
