The ideal candidate holds a BSME and PE or licensed HVAC designer status, with 3+ years in HVAC design and ability to visit sites within ~1 hour of Fox Valley. Salary is $120k–$160k/yr plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or State‑Licensed HVAC Designer.
• 3+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC design experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project scope and perform feasibility analyses for HVAC systems.
• Design high‑performance HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Perform load calculations, air distribution sizing, and plant design.
• Develop schematic designs and BIM models during bids.
• Draft technical proposals and present concepts to owners and contractors.
• Coordinate drawings and ensure code compliance during plan reviews.
