Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Senior HVAC Project Engineer for commercial and industrial systems in the Fox Valley/Northeast WI area. The role blends advanced HVAC system design with direct client collaboration, proposal support, and bid activities.

You will lead load calculations, boiler/chiller plant design, piping and air distribution, while coordinating with sales, estimating, and fabrication teams. A PE or HVAC designer license and 3+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required, PE or state-licensed HVAC designer.
3+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC design experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, load calculation software, and Excel.
Strong presentation skills and client-facing collaboration.

Responsibilities

Scope & feasibility analysis to define project scope and propose HVAC solutions.
Design high-performance HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities.
Perform load calculations, piping/air distribution layouts, boiler/chiller plant design.
Develop schematic designs and CAD/Revit models for bids.
Draft technical proposals and present to owners, GCs, and plant managers.
Coordinate drawings and ensure compliance with mechanical/energy codes.
