Job summary

Sbf-Search, LLC is seeking a seasoned Project Developer to identify, develop, and deliver high-value commercial HVAC and mechanical projects across the Washington, DC/MD region. You will leverage deep technical and commercial know-how to turn customer needs into profitable projects.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in commercial HVAC, construction, or design-build, with strong estimating, budgeting, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Strong HVAC/mechanical systems knowledge and experience in commercial projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, financial, and project-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop owner-direct turnkey, retrofit, replacement, and specialty project opportunities.
Conduct facility assessments and evaluate HVAC/mechanical systems to identify customer needs.
Develop project scopes, conceptual designs, budgets, schedules, and execution strategies.
Prepare estimates, cost models, margin analyses, and financial forecasts.
Coordinate engineering, vendors, subcontractors, and self-perform field teams.
Lead project turnover to Project Management and Operations.
Follow safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
