Job summary

Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior HVAC/Plumbing Estimator to lead conceptual and detailed takeoffs for commercial projects in Florida.

You will analyze blueprints, specifications, and site conditions, prepare time and cost estimates, and support Estimators I & II while ensuring accuracy and profitability. Applicants should have strong estimating software skills, advanced Excel, and experience in HVAC and plumbing estimating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or HS Diploma with 6–10 years estimating experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License is required.
• Ability to estimate commercial HVAC and Plumbing projects.
• Experience with bid processes and evaluating vendor quotes.

Responsibilities

• Produce conceptual estimates with limited information.
• Participate in pre-bid surveys and site condition reviews.
• Take active role in post-bid scoping meetings with clients.
• Review and qualify vendor/subcontractor quotes against bid documents.
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for planning and bids.
• Assist Chief Estimator with day-to-day estimating operations.
