Job summary

Icon Mechanical, headquartered in Granite City, IL, is seeking a Project Manager for the Convergent Solutions Group. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC service or mechanical project management and will lead projects from award through closeout, coordinate scheduling, and manage client relationships.

You will monitor financials, procure materials, issue subcontracts, oversee safety, and ensure contract performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
• HVACR knowledge and piping systems.
• Strong time and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining client relationships and ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Leading projects from award through closeout including scheduling and handoffs.
• Monitoring financial performance including cost projections, WIP, and profitability.
• Procuring materials and equipment, issuing subcontracts, and overseeing subcontractor performance.
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project billings/pay applications.
• Ensuring safety compliance and coordinating with Safety Department.
