Job summary

icon Mechanical is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our CSG team at our Granite City, IL headquarters. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in HVAC service or mechanical project management and can manage projects independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities include building client relationships, leading projects from award to closeout, monitoring financial performance, procuring materials, managing RFIs and change orders, and coordinating with safety to ensure

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record leading projects independently from award through closeout with minimal oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; HVACR knowledge.
• Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products and codes.
• Familiarity with digital controls systems is a plus.
• Strong time and project management skills; professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships, identifying business needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Lead projects from award through closeout with schedule development and team alignment.
• Monitor financial performance, including cost projections, WIP, and profitability.
• Procure materials, issue subcontracts, and oversee subcontractor performance.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project billings.
• Coordinate with Safety to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure performance milestones, punch lists, warranties, and turnover are completed.
