Job summary

icon Mechanical, a leading full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Project Manager to join the CSG team at our Granite City, IL headquarters. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC service or mechanical project management experience and will lead projects from award through closeout.

You will manage client relations, schedule development, cost projections, subcontractor oversight, and coordination with safety to ensure compliance and profitability across multi-million dollar scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or HVACR-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, and construction details.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships, understand needs, and ensure satisfaction.
• Lead projects from award through closeout, handling schedule and handoff.
• Monitor financial performance, cost projections, and profitability.
• Procure materials, issue subcontracts, and manage subcontractors.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders; oversee billings/pay apps.
• Coordinate with Safety to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Oversee closeout, punch lists, warranties, and O&M turnover.
