Job summary

Empower Home Services in Riverside, CA seeks a Senior HVAC Technician to lead installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, light commercial, and packaged HVAC systems while guiding the team and upholding safety and service standards.

You will diagnose complex issues, size and install new systems, and mentor junior technicians, ensuring compliance with codes and EPA regulations, plus building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of residential HVAC service, maintenance, or installation experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel.
• Advanced knowledge of residential, split, packaged, and light commercial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced HVAC installations, preventive maintenance, and complex service repairs on residential, split, packaged, and light commercial systems.
• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex HVAC issues.
• Size and install new HVAC systems in compliance with specifications and codes.
• Inspect systems, identify repair needs, and recommend solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior technicians through hands-on training and real-time guidance.
• Document work performed, parts used, and system findings in the work order system.
