Job summary

Southern Home Services, including Pro-Tech Air Conditioning & Plumbing Service, is seeking a dynamic HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee residential HVAC installations, upgrades, and replacements. The role includes leading a small team, mentoring helpers, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, EPA certification, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of HVAC experience, ideally residential.
• Valid Driver’s License with minimum 3 years driving experience.
• EPA certification required for environmental compliance.
• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Strong customer service and communication with homeowners.
• Ability to lead Install Helpers and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, upgrade, or replacement of residential HVAC systems.
• Lead a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality, safe work.
• Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in shop.
• Interact with customers to communicate progress and address concerns.
• Maintain organized tools, parts, and vehicle; manage inventory.
• Work safely at heights and in tight spaces across weather conditions.
