Pima County is seeking an HVAC Supervisor in Facilities Management to lead and perform advanced HVAC operations, maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks on commercial-level systems. You will interpret codes, prepare sketches and resource estimates, and coordinate modifications with operations staff to minimize service disruption.

The ideal candidate has eight years of journey-level HVAC experience with supervisory exposure, an apprenticeship preference, and certifications such as EPA Section

• Eight years of journey-level HVAC experience with supervisory exposure.
• Four years with Pima County in HVAC roles including one year in lead/supervisory position.
• Education/experience must be documented in the application; resumes not a substitute.

Responsabilidades

• Operates and maintains complex commercial-level HVAC equipment and systems.
• Performs critical repairs to maintain system integrity and compliance with codes.
• Acts as system technical expert for HVAC equipment and modifications.
• Interprets codes using blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Prepares sketches and resource estimates for projects and modifications.
• Coordinates equipment changes with staff to minimize service disruption.
• Supports development of RFPs and contracts for equipment and services.
• Inspects and maintains tools, equipment, and vehicles; keeps logs.
