Job summary
One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Frisco, TX is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Training & Technical Supervisor to develop apprentices and enhance the technical capabilities of our service technicians. This hands-on field role focuses on coaching, live diagnostics, and field-based training to ensure high-quality service and technical excellence.
It is not an office position and requires ongoing field presence and leadership.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of residential HVAC field experience.
- Extensive residential service and diagnostic experience.
- Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
- EPA Universal Certification and TDLR license.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ride-alongs with apprentices and technicians.
- Provide hands-on instruction during service calls and diagnostics.
- Coach technicians to improve diagnostic accuracy.
- Lead twice-weekly classroom training sessions (Mon/Thu).
- Evaluate apprentices and track development levels.
- Oversee truck inspections and inventory control.
- Provide on-site field support when needed.
