Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking an HVAC Technician II to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems across multiple sites in the Charlotte area. The role includes a company vehicle, tools, and daily travel to client locations, with up to 75% travel and some assignments at a single facility.

You will troubleshoot, service, repair and maintain AHUs, ACUs, heat pumps, VAV systems, DDCs, and related equipment, while following safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma. Certified 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state approved HVAC license.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant License required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record; security clearance possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems across customer locations.
• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain AHUs, ACUs, heat pumps, VAV, and DDC systems.
• Monitor and test systems, record readings, and ensure safe operation.
• Assist with general building maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Order parts and supplies, maintain tools and vehicle, and keep the work area organized.
• Follow safety policies and participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
