Job summary

Yesway, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III (HVAC Certified) to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across our Yesway and Allsup’s locations.

The role requires HVACR expertise, electrical, plumbing, and foodservice equipment experience, plus a valid driver’s license and EPA certification or willingness to obtain it. You will use CMMS to manage work orders, inspect third-party work, and maintain inventories while ensuring safety and top-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Type I & II or Universal HVAC certification, or willingness to obtain within timeframe.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment at Yesway/Allsup’s sites; HVACR, electrical, plumbing and foodservice equipment.
• Facilitates and inspects work performed by third-party vendors.
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Maintains inventory and tools on company-provided vehicle.
• Uses CMMS to manage, track, and close work orders; update asset records.
• Participates in training to stay current on equipment management.
• Contributes to team effort and completes tasks with quality and cost efficiency.
• Delivers timely service with exceptional customer care.
