Job summary

Yesway, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to service facilities and equipment across Yesway and Allsup’s locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect vendors, and ensure a safe, clean environment while maintaining inventory and using CMMS for work orders.

You will need a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in maintenance, and certifications such as EPA 608. This role requires physical ability and a valid driver’s license, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 3–5 years in maintenance.
• Experience or training in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, or foodservice/beverage repair.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and use tools; able to work in confined spaces, crouch/crawl, and climb ladders.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable to drive company vehicle.
• EPA 608 Type I & II or Universal HVAC certification, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
• Facilitate and inspect work by vendors.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment per procedures.
• Track inventory and tools on company vehicle.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and asset records.
• Participate in training on equipment.
• Support team to achieve related results.
• Complete jobs with quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery, with strong customer service.
