Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking an HVAC Technician to operate, maintain, and repair HVAC and related systems. The role involves working with chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs and refrigeration equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and compliance. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, Universal EPA Certification, and 2+ years of journeyman level HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• 2+ years of HVAC journeyman level operation experience.
• Ability to read piping and instrument drawings (P&IDs).
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair HVAC equipment including boilers and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tune-ups.
• Repair components and controls (thermostats, relays, sensors).
• Test boiler operations, water quality and burner efficiency.
• Install, calibrate, and commission HVAC systems and components.
• Keep maintenance logs and reports up to date.
• Communicate with team and stakeholders on status and issues.
