Job summary

Johnson Controls manages day-to-day facility operations, ensuring cost-effective, safe, and compliant performance across sites. You will lead O&M staff on large sites or groups of remote sites, oversee budgeting, vendor coordination, and process adherence, and communicate with clients to meet contractual obligations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, and at least five years in facility management with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Five years of facility management or building operations experience required.
• Three years of supervisory experience in management, budgeting, vendor management, operations and maintenance.
• Ability to travel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of facilities to meet O&M standards and budget.
• Lead O&M staff at large sites or multiple remote sites.
• Coordinate with customer management and subcontractors for service delivery.
• Review expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, and contract requirements.
• Provide regular written and oral reports to ensure client satisfaction.
• Liaise with subcontractors and internal teams to reduce costs and increase satisfaction.
