Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Sr. Engineer to maintain multiple mechanical and electrical equipment for large commercial HVAC systems. The role includes support, preventive maintenance, and repairs as part of Engineering and Technical Services.

You will work with multi-discipline teams, ensure code compliance, and lead by example while mentoring others. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities within CBRE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Experience with building HVAC systems and control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain advanced electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Calibrate instruments, gauges, and control components.
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new methods for accomplishing objectives.
• Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
• Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and influence senior stakeholders.
