Account Manager to develop sales, profits, and client relationships across EMCOR Service operations, maintenance, repair, replacement and energy solutions. You will build presentations, prospect new accounts, manage pricing and payments, and coordinate with project managers and engineers to maximize growth and profitability in a competitive HVAC and building automation market.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration is preferred.
• 8+ years’ sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation.
• Relevant technical experience, preferably in facilities management or operations and maintenance.
• Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.
• Financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
• Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
• Independent decision-making is required.
• Computer skills using MS Office; strong Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales presentations and prospect new accounts; provide clients with product services and information.
• Maintain client pricing and payments, A/R management, client correspondence, and P/L reports.
• Provide QA support and participate in industry/trade shows.
• Establish relationships with prospective clients and research projects to develop future connections.
• Develop, write, and review client proposals including financial and technical sections using standard templates and pricing models.
• Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share and maximize profitability.
