Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC engineering experience, including design and documentation of building mechanical systems.
• Professional engineering license in mechanical engineering or pursuing PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC design from concept through construction documentation.
• Review, approve, and seal HVAC construction documents produced in AutoCAD and Revit for code compliance.
• Ensure compliance with IMC, ASHRAE standards, AHJ requirements and energy codes.
• Provide technical direction on HVAC system selection, sizing, layout, and controls.
• Oversee HVAC scope across multiple projects, maintaining quality, schedules and milestones.
• Set technical requirements and deliverables for mechanical engineering teams and ensure timely completion.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate onboarding and professional development within the department.
• Support proposal efforts, client discussions, and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
