Actalent is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Fishers, IN team. You will own HVAC designs from load calculations through equipment selection and construction documents, coordinating with BIM staff and other disciplines in a design/build environment.

The role emphasizes Revit-based MEP design, field coordination, and delivering complete design packages for a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects with a hybrid work setup.

Formación

• At least 5 years of mechanical HVAC design experience.
• Proficient in Revit for mechanical and MEP design.
• Experience with HVAC load calculations and equipment sizing.
• PE license or pursuing licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Develop HVAC construction documents for commercial, institutional and industrial projects.
• Perform HVAC load calculations using Trane TRACE.
• Design and lay out HVAC systems, including equipment, ductwork and piping.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, plumbing, fire protection and electrical disciplines.
• Review codes and ensure designs meet energy standards.
• Assist during construction by responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
• Lead internal design reviews and project coordination meetings.
• Independently manage projects from load calculations to construction documents.
