Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a Field-based CHVAC_AM_Senior Controls Technician to install, program, test, troubleshoot and service on customer-site projects. You will document verifications, coordinate with customers, and ensure safety and quality on every site visit.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, about 7 years of HVAC/Controls experience, valid driver’s license, and experience with DDC controls. On-site work may include overtime and overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7 years of HVAC/Controls experience preferred.
• Technical training or certification is a plus.
• Experience with DDC controls system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commission, program, set up graphics, establish communications link, test end-to-end, troubleshoot and service on assigned projects.
• Document point-to-point verification and sequence of operations validation; close-out requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact; service products and equipment; diagnose and repair on-site.
• Collaborate with team leader and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
