CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to perform master systems integration of building management systems, develop control databases, and create user interfaces according to project specifications and proposals.

The role includes on-site and remote support, field startup, and commissioning tasks for large enterprise clients. Travel up to 50% is required; experience with Niagara or Distech is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HVAC/Electrical/Mechanical or Software Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BMS/automation standards and at least four core systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.

Aufgaben

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal and design documentation.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays according to project specifications or sales proposal.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform advanced system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action.
• Document problem resolution and report findings back to Project team for customer follow-up.
• Coordinate system installation with installing contractors at job site as required.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
• Coach others and share knowledge of standard principles with the team.
• Support the management of software tools.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; help reach agreements where needed.
