Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to lead master systems integration of building management systems and develop control databases and user interfaces. You will provide on-site and remote support, perform field startup, and commission control systems in line with project specifications and sales proposals.

The role involves programming, system checkout, diagnostics, and reporting results to the project team. Occasional travel up to 50% is required across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Must possess core knowledge in Building Management Systems, Niagara, DistechControls, BACnet/Modbus, HVAC, ITNetworking, Commissioning, Troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
• Coordinate system installation with installing contractors on site.
