Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to perform Master Systems Integration of building management systems and to build control databases and user interfaces based on project specifications and sales proposals.

The role includes on-site and remote support, field startup, and system commissioning for enterprise clients globally. You will create complex programming, validate system operation, and develop graphics displays while coordinating with installers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical experience and judgment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Program control applications using various software tools.
• Site checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Ensure operation matches project specifications and design documents.
• Develop system graphics displays per project specs or sales proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform advanced system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot escalated problems and implement corrective actions.
• Document resolutions and report findings to Project team.
• Coordinate installation with installing contractors on site.
• Apply knowledge of standard principles to solve routine problems.
• Coach others and share knowledge across the function.
• Support management of software tools.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
