Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Service Technician 2 to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of building automation systems at customer sites in North America. You will troubleshoot complex systems, document work, and provide on-site training and mentorship while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in commercial controls for HVAC, strong communication, and the ability to propose retrofits or enhancements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years commercial controls troubleshooting in HVAC.
• Technical degree or two years’ experience in servicing electronic or mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and writing skills; ability to explain technical information.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Provide on-site service with high levels of customer satisfaction and clear documentation.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on building automation activities and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions and propose retrofits or enhancements.
