Job summary

Yearout Mechanical, LLC is seeking a highly experienced HVAC Controls Programming Specialist to support our capital projects team. This role reviews subcontractor programming, supports commissioning efforts, and troubleshoots building automation and mechanical control systems from estimate review through project completion.

You will collaborate with owners, designers, and TAB teams to ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC controls experience; 7-10 years preferred.
• Experience managing BAS/DDC projects.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with owners and stakeholders to define performance criteria.
• Review HVAC control system designs and sequences of operation.
• Review subcontractor BAS programming platforms (Niagara, Distech, JCI, Siemens).
• Support system startup, commissioning, and testing; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and TAB teams; assist with scope and negotiations.
• Maintain documentation and communicate project updates.
