Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years of HVAC and plumbing design experience for buildings.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) required.
• Experience leading staff and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC, plumbing, controls, and piping drawings with specs.
• Perform construction administration and submittal reviews.
• Create preliminary schematics through final designs including calculations and layouts.
• Lead code research and apply codes in projects.
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors to deliver projects.
• Provide leadership and coordination of the production staff.
• Support budgets and schedules while ensuring quality.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of design work.
• Assist in business development and project scoping with clients.
