Farnsworth Group, a national architectural engineering and surveying firm, is seeking a Plumbing Project Engineer to lead plumbing design for commercial, institutional, healthcare projects from concept through construction. The role combines technical leadership, client communication, and project coordination.

The position requires a degree in mechanical or architectural engineering, 8–12+ years of experience, PE or CPD preferred, proficiency with Revit, and a collaborative, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or architectural engineering required.
• PE license or CPD preferred.
• 8–12+ years plumbing design experience.
• Experience leading plumbing design on multi-discipline projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
• Proficient with Revit and coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing system design from concept through construction administration.
• Develop drawings, specs, and details for domestic water, sanitary, storm, and vent systems.
• Coordinate with architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and support quality control.
• Participate in meetings, client presentations, and business development.
• Perform field observations and construction administration as needed.
