Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer in Bellevue to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety equipment.

You will support preventive maintenance programs and ensure operations meet client requirements and safety standards. This role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a valid HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience or combination of experience and education.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs+ and being able to stand, walk, climb stairs.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations, and company directives.
• Maintain energy management programs and ensure efficient operation of systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance plans to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs.
