Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline with 5+ years of work experience in a relevant industry performing Test Engineering activities on high‑voltage electronics or battery systems.
• Experience testing high‑voltage, high‑power electronics (such as PDU, DC/DC, contactors, fuses, protection circuits) in EV/aerospace.
• HV test methods: hipot, insulation resistance, isolation monitoring, high‑current/transient measurements.
• Experience with lab equipment: scopes, HV probes, data acquisition, power analyzers, programmable loads, battery cyclers/emulators.
• Environmental stress testing: thermal/humidity cycling, vibration, EMI/EMC, HIRF, lightning.

Responsibilities

• Identify test objectives with engineers to devise test matrices and procedures for repeatable results.
• Coordinate HV test articles, power distribution hardware, BMS boards, and related PCBs to meet objectives.
• Develop and maintain HV test rigs with HV safety interlocks and grounding schemes.
• Perform electrical characterization, qualification, and reliability testing of ESDS HV electronics.
• Analyze test data and generate reports with actionable design feedback for certification.
• Lead test kickoff, readiness and data review meetings; coordinate with PM for scheduling and documentation.
• Draft Qualification Test Plans and Procedures and support FAA witnessing.
