Job summary

Harbinger in California seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, HV Test to lead the development and deployment of high‑voltage test systems for our battery production lines. You will own end‑to‑end testing strategy to ensure safe, reliable packs meet our standards.

You will design and commission EOL testers, implement test automation with MES, and collaborate with Battery hardware and firmware teams to optimize manufacturability and testing scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• System design, specify, and commission high-voltage test equipment for battery modules and packs.
• Develop robust test scripts and automation architecture.
• Collaborate with Battery Hardware and Firmware teams for manufacturability and scalable testing.
• Establish HV safety protocols (NFPA 70E) for the floor.
• Lead root-cause analyses for non-conforming packs.
• Drive process improvements to reduce test cycle times and increase OEE.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with external test equipment integrators.
