Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced Project Manager for high voltage substation programs. You will lead engineering teams, coordinate multi-discipline design work, and ensure projects meet scope, quality, time, and budget targets.

The role includes client communications, scope changes, and potential business development support. A BS from an ABET-accredited program and 10+ years in HV projects are preferred. Hybrid work and relocation options are available.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years in design engineering/management of high voltage utility projects.
• Experience with EPC/Owners Engineer/Joint Ventures contracts.
• Strong writing and proposal development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams of engineers, designers, estimators, controls, and scheduling pros for HV substations.
• Direct and coordinate detailed design phases across electrical engineering areas.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and transmission teams; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop scope changes and obtain client approval; monitor quality and compliance with codes.
• Prepare reports and maintain client-focused communication; support business development.
• Mentor team members; promote hybrid work and relocation as needed.
