Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join a project team focused on detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substations. You will play an active role in concept development, work planning, and execution, while interfacing with clients.

This hybrid role supports relocation and offers opportunities to travel to client sites as needed, with collaborative learning through Communities of Practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of MV power systems design experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within budget and schedule.
• Experience tracking schedules, expenditures, and client interfaces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing others' design drawings.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take active role in project conceptualization, planning, and execution.
• Support challenging assignments, troubleshooting and solving issues.
• Prepare reports presenting technical and project information per client/SL formats.
• Share knowledge with peers via Communities of Practice.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
