Job summary

Powerserve Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Substation Crew Lead/Foreman to lead field crews on utility substation construction projects across Florida. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating activities, ensuring safety, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will supervise crews, read electrical drawings, coordinate outages with utility reps, and travel throughout North Florida, with per diem and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Leader with field crew supervision experience on substations.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel across Florida and work long hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews on substation construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities and manpower needs.
• Coordinate outages, switching schedules, and site access with utility reps.
• Monitor project progress and maintain productivity goals.
• Ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
• Work with Operations Manager on schedules and deliverables.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
• Lead installation activities (conduits, grounding, cable trays, terminations).
• Troubleshoot field issues and participate in safety meetings.
