Actalent is seeking a Substation Engineer in Fort Worth, TX, to lead engineering and design activities for high‑voltage substations, develop design packages, perform calculations, and interact with clients from concept through construction.

The role involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to proposals, and overseeing field inspections, with a strong emphasis on utility experience and protection/controls expertise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in substation engineering.
• Experience with high voltage substations and power delivery.
• Proven utility experience and client-facing skills.
• Expertise in protection and controls.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering and design activities for high-voltage substation projects.
• Develop comprehensive substation design packages.
• Perform engineering calculations and oversee field inspections.
• Engage in client interactions and support proposals.
• Execute projects from concept through construction.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers throughout project cycles.
