Zusammenfassung

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead testing, commissioning, and energization for HV substations, BESS, and PV facilities. The role requires travel and deep field involvement, acting as the senior technical authority and mentor across commissioning teams.

The position is fully remote with location details discussed during interview. Candidates should have a PE license or the ability to obtain one, and a strong track record in complex commissioning of utility-scale

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• PE license or ability to obtain.
• 10+ years in testing, commissioning, energization of HV substations/BESS/PV facilities.
• 5+ years leading commissioning/energization on complex projects.
• Experience with protection schemes, relay settings, power quality.

Aufgaben

• Attend meetings with Owners, Utilities, and stakeholders.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning plans aligned with specs and interconnection requirements.
• Create detailed Initial Energization Procedures for HV substations, BESS, PV systems.
• Serve as engineering authority for complex commissioning issues.
• Review protection philosophies, relay settings, and commissioning strategies.
